Pokémon Mega Festa launches May 1 with three Seongsu pop-ups, Musinsa S1 wraps grand opening, Stray Kids SKZOO, New Balance × Kian84, K-beauty drops & last-call closes. 15 free pop-ups for Apr 28 – May 4, 2026.
Seongsu hits a turning point this week. Pokémon Mega Festa 2026 launches Friday May 1, dropping three simultaneous Seongsu pop-ups for the franchise's 30th anniversary — Pokémon Secret Forest at Seoul Forest, Pokémon 30th Anniversary Party, and Ditto Playground all open the same day. On the fashion side, Musinsa Megastore Seongsu S1 is in its grand-opening week, Stray Kids' SKZOO travel pop-up is drawing K-pop fans by the hundreds, and the New Balance × Kian84 running collection keeps pulling weekend crowds.
It's also a brutal closing week: Musinsa Standard × No Hong-cheol wraps Wednesday April 29, EYANG closes Thursday April 30, and three other April-only popups end on the 30th. We've sorted everything into six zones — Pokémon, Last-Chance, K-Pop & Character, Big Fashion Drops, K-Beauty, and Food/Coffee — so you can plan a single afternoon or stretch it across the long Children's Day weekend.
Pokémon's 30th anniversary global tour kicks off in Seongsu on Friday May 1, and Seoul gets three concurrent venues. All three are free entry, all three are walking distance from each other, and weekend day-1 lines are guaranteed to be intense. If you're flexible, come Sunday May 3 or Monday May 4 — you'll still hit launch week without the opening-day chaos.
The headline event. Pokémon takes over an outdoor pavilion at Seoul Forest itself, building a forest-themed walk-through with photo zones, character meet-and-greet appearances, and a dedicated merchandise tent. The location matters — it sits inside one of Seoul's most-loved parks, so you can layer it with a picnic, a deer-spotting walk, or a stroll over to the Han River.
Open May 1 – June 21, daily. From Suin-Bundang Line Seoul Forest Station Exit 4, follow the park signs (8 min walk). Pro tip: weekday afternoons are dramatically quieter than weekend mornings.
Pokemon Secret Forest is the third event in Pokemon Megafesta 2026, hosted at Seoul Forest. Wander a mystical green forest where Pokemon hide among the trees and discover an outdoor pop-up Pokemon Store packed with original goods. Tied to the 2026 Seoul International Garden Expo, it's a magical outdoor experience open daily from May 1 through June 21.
