How to Order
Arrive early — this iconic restaurant has long queues, especially at lunch (11am-1pm). The main branch near Gyeongbokgung Palace is the original. Seat yourself when space opens. Order at the table; the Original Samgyetang is the classic choice. The chicken is served boiling hot in a stone pot. Pull the meat apart with chopsticks, season with salt and pepper on the side. The ginseng-infused rice inside the chicken is the best part. Cash and cards accepted.
