Namsan Park Cherry Blossoms

When spring arrives in Seoul, Namsan Mountain transforms into one of the city's most beautiful cherry blossom destinations. Pale pink blossoms line the winding roads and walking trails that climb toward N Seoul Tower, with the longest cherry-tree trail in the city threading through Namsan Park. Favorite viewing spots include the Namsan Circular Road, the area near the Namsan Library and the cable car station, and the tree-lined paths leading up the mountain, where blossoms frame sweeping views of the Seoul skyline below.

Namsan sits on higher ground than low-lying spots like Yeouido, so its blossoms tend to peak slightly later, generally in early-to-mid April though the exact timing shifts each year with the weather. Walking up under a canopy of flowers is the classic experience, but you can also ride the Namsan Cable Car or hop on the eco-friendly circular bus for an easier climb.
