Tteuran, which means 'inner garden,' is a beautiful traditional tea house located at the border of Insadong and Ikseon-dong. It became famous among movie buffs as a filming location for 'Cafe Noir,' but it has long been a favorite for locals seeking quiet contemplation. The tea house surrounds a tiny but perfectly manicured courtyard garden.
They specialize in 'strong' traditional teas like Ssanghwa-cha and Daechu-cha (jujube tea), which are slow-brewed to extract maximum health benefits. The interior is filled with warm wood and soft lighting, making it one of the most romantic and peaceful spots in the area.
