The street has evolved from a quiet residential lane into one of Seouls most fashionable shopping destinations, yet retains a relaxed village atmosphere that sets it apart from the intensity of nearby Gangnam station area. Side alleys (called serosu-gil) hide even more gems — tiny galleries, concept stores, and hidden cafes waiting to be discovered.
